We'll be saving the "leftover" in our budget toward our CSA this week.

We still have very full freezers plus a gallon of milk, asparagus, carrots, celery, tomatoes, a pineapple, a few apples and a pear left from last week, so we will have plenty to eat this week!  I did pay full price for the kids' toothpaste since we were completely out and our children refuse to use "grown up" toothpaste - we had room in the budget and didn't want to fight them on it right now!   I'll be using the ginger root in a new-to-us recipe this next week and I'm pretty excited about it - it's gotten rave reviews from several people who have tried it.

Come back on Monday to see what we're eating this week!

How did you do with your shopping this week?
