Menu Plan Monday - Week of June 22, 2014

A plate full of sliced tomatoes and lettuce for BLTs last summer!  I'm SO looking forward to garden-fresh tomatoes this year!  I'm hoping for quite a few.

I'm having a hard time believing that it's almost July already - next week is Independence Day already!  I'm SO not ready for that!  We officially kicked off summer on Saturday with the children and John going to the parade for one of the local festivals here.  The children came home with an entire grocery bag full of candy!  Yikes!  And John came home with an awful sunburn.  Double Yikes!  Either way, they had a good time.  I woke up with a puffy, swollen face - thank you sinuses! - so I stayed home and slept for a bit.  I felt better so I guess that means we all had a good time.

What are you eating this week?

  1. Your menu sounds good. I need to get my menu made too. We have been so busy lately that I haven't had it done for a few weeks and I don't like that. Things seem to be slowing down a bit so hopefully I'll get it done. I do plan on having homemade pizza this week too (tomorrow is the plan) I already browned the hamburger for it when I was making supper on Monday.
