Menu Plan "Monday" - Holy Week, The Week of April 14, 2019

Chicken Pot Pie (Plate Size) and Fruit Salad.
Holy Week is always busy for a Pastor's family - four worship services, a funeral, two committee meetings, Confirmation, and all the other things that come with Holy Week.  Plus extra worship, dance and music practice for the children.  And all the other things that happen in a typical week.  Whew!

We spent $37 on groceries this week - fruit, spinach and a bit of diary. Eggs were on sale and so were blackberries, so we bought extra of those this week.  Here's what we are eating this week:

Sunday, April 14, 2019, Palm Sunday
     Breakfast: Toast and Smoothies
     Lunch: At Church (Palm Sunday Brunch)
     Dinner:  Roasted Veggie Couscous, Tortilla Chips

Monday, April 15, 2019
     Breakfast: Bagels with Cream Cheese
     Lunch: Leftover Couscous and Chips, Grapefruit
     Snack: Yogurt
     Dinner: Chicken Pot Pie, Apple-Blackberry Salad

Tuesday, April 16, 2019
      Breakfast: Oatmeal with Blackberries and Walnuts
      Lunch:  Meatballs from the Freezer, Pasta
      Snack:  Popcorn
      Dinner: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Cut Veggies, Orange Wedges

Wednesday, April 17, 2019:
     Breakfast: Bagels and Cream Cheese
     Lunch: Leftover Couscous with Spinach Salad
     Snack: Yogurt
     Dinner: Hamburger Gravy, Rice, Blackberry-Orange-Grape Salad

Thursday, April 18, 2019, Maundy Thursday:
     Breakfast: Oatmeal Muffins, Mango Smoothies
     Lunch: Leftover Hamburger Gravy and Rice
     Snack: Yogurt
     Dinner: Sausage, Potatoes, Carrots

Friday, April 19, 2019, Good Friday:
      Breakfast: Hot Cross Buns
      Lunch: At Church
      Snack: Yogurt
      Dinner: Veggie Pizza, Breadsticks

Saturday, April 20, 2019:
     Brunch: Frittata with Bacon, Potatoes and Spinach
     Snack: Soft Pretzels
     Dinner: Shrimp Fettuccine
