Happy Thanksgiving 2018!

Some of our summer 2018 produce - much of this is still in the freezer and will be enjoyed this winter.  I am so grateful!

On this U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving,  I am thankful for each of you, my readers, and the opportunity to share a little bit of my life with you here in cyberspace.

I hope that no matter where you live, you have a wonderful weekend and take a minute to reflect on the many blessings you have.

Our year of 2018 has not been an easy one - it many ways it has been one of the most difficult we have ever had.  We still have so much to be thankful for - our family, our home, our careers, transportation, plenty to eat and wear, and a whole host of other things!  I hope you, too, have many things to be thankful for.

Blessings,
Lea

Now Thank We All Our God

by Martin Rinkhart, translated by Catherine Winkworth
Music by Johann Cruger

Now thank we all our God with hearts and hands and voices,
who wondrous things has done, in whom this world rejoices;
who, from our mother's arms, has blest us on our way
with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.

Oh, may this bounteous God through all our life be near us,
with ever joyful hearts and blessed peace to cheer us,
and keep us in his grace, and guide us when perplexed,
and free us from all harm in this world and the next.

All praise and thanks to God the Father now be given,
the Son, and Spirit blest, who reign in highest heaven,
the one eternal God, whom earth and heaven adore;
for thus it was is now, and shall be ever more.
