Menu Plan Monday - Week of February 19, 2012

Oh, my, I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted here.  *Sigh*  I knew it had been a while, but I didn't realize it had been that long. 

Our pantry month went well and we had enough meat left over that we've been able to keep going in a way, staying well under our weekly grocery budget and stocking up at the same time.  I'm hoping to keep it up!   The crab legs in the picture were for my husband's birthday the beginning of January - the only time of the year we get them.  They were wonderfully decadent and we have enough crab meat leftover in the freezer for crab cakes later this month!  Yum!
Here's what we're eating this week:

Sunday, February 20:
   Breakfast: Yogurt
   Lunch: Buttermilk Coffee Cake, Bacon, Oranges
   Dinner:  Hamburgers, Steamed Broccoli, Oven Fries

Monday, February 21:
    Breakfast:  English Muffins with Peanut Butter, Sliced Pears
    Lunch: Macaroni and Cheese, Sliced Apples
    Snack: Popcorn
    Dinner: Hard Shell Beef Tacos, Salad, Apple-Pear-Blueberry Salad

Tuesday, February 22:
     Breakfast: Pancakes with Lingonberry Syrup
     Lunch: Hot for Kids, Leftovers for Mom and Dad
     Snack: Cheese Stick and Apple
     Dinner:  Vegetable Calzones, Salad, Apple-Orange-Blueberry Salad

Wednesday, February 23, Ash Wednesday:
    Breakfast: English Muffins with Peanut Butter, Oranges
    Lunch:  Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, Carrots or Tomatoes, Sliced Apple, Cookie
    Snack: Yogurt
    Dinner: At Church

Thursday, February 24:
   Breakfast: Oatmeal with Cinnamon and Raisins
   Lunch: Hot for Kids, Leftovers for Mom and Dad
   Snack: Cheese Stick and Apple
   Dinner: Hot Dogs in Buns, Pasta Salad, Corn on the Cob, Apple-Pear-Orange Salad

Friday, February 25:
   Breakfast: Oatmeal Muffins, Oranges
   Lunch: Hot for Kids, Leftovers for Mom and Dad
   Snack: Yogurt
   Dinner: Shrimp Stir Fry, Rice, Orange and Grapefruit Wedges

Saturday, February 26:
   Breakfast: Out for All (Bible Study)
   Lunch: Chili from the Freezer, Wrap Turkey Sandwiches, Oranges
   Snack: Goldfish Crackers
   Dinner:  Baked Salmon, Couscous, Salad, Apple-Pear-Orange Salad
